Matt Cullina is chief executive officer of IDT911, LLC and IDT911, Inc. He has served in this role for more than five years, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in insurance industry management, claims and product development.
Prior to joining IDT911, Cullina spearheaded MetLife Auto & Home Insurance Co.'s personal product lines development initiatives, and managed complex commercial lines claims and litigation for both the Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. and Traveler's Insurance. He joined IDT911 as executive vice president of product development and quickly rose to the position of CEO with his long-term vision for the organisation and strong leadership abilities.
Under Cullina's leadership, the company has evolved from a service provider enjoying strong partnerships among personal lines carriers in the United States to a multifaceted, consultative provider of identity and data risk management, breach response, resolution and education services throughout all of North America. The company has relationships with more than 50 percent of the property and casualty market, including 16 of the top 20 personal lines carriers.
In 2008, Cullina led the charge for expansion of the company's services with the launch of a new coverage offering for data breach risk management in the commercial lines marketplace. His guidance has assisted in IDT911's ability to respond to growing demands in industries requiring strict regulatory compliance.
Today, the company boasts a 99-percent customer satisfaction rate and 98.5-percent client retention rate, while achieving record growth year-over-year.
Cullina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics from Salve Regina University. He is a desired expert speaker on all topics related to identity theft, data risk management, breach prevention and response, and is an advocate for children in the areas of cyberbullying, child identity theft and financial awareness. He and his wife Virginia and their three children live in Providence, Rhode Island.
